Research Interests:
My main research topic revolves around how social stratification and inequality is created in the labor market. Within this framework, I study how employers and establishments influence employees´ career opportunities and monetary rewards. During the last years, I have focused on the mechanisms at the establishment level that generate gender and ethnic differences in labor market-related outcomes. My current research is concerned with the impact of ethnic segregation on school progress and labor market careers of immigrant and Swedish youth.
